Services holds the unique philosophy of combining thoughtful
remodeling services with mold remediation expertise. In addition
to our design/build successes, we also know how to create an
opportunity for improving your home, both functionally and aesthetically,
out of the reality of dealing with a hazardous mold problem.

Mike Fort, Principal
Mike Fort is a founder and co-owner of Seacliff
Environmental Services and Construction. He has over 10 years
of experience in the environmental field and holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in
business management from San Jose State University. He is a
certified mold remediator and has professional experience as
an environmental manager dealing with mold and asbestos abatement.
Mike is certified through the Environmental Protection Agency
as an inspector, contractor, and supervisor. He is also HAZWOPPER-certified
and Cal-OSHA certified as a Site Surveillance Technician. Mike
was born and raised in Watsonville, and he and his wife Heidi
have lived in the Santa Cruz area for 10 years. They have two
children, Malia and Amanda, and are expecting a third in the
spring. Mike takes pride in Seacliff maintaining an atmosphere
where employees are treated like family and clients feel secure
that they are receiving the best service available in the industry.
Lennox Smith, Principal
Lennox Smith is a founder and co-owner of
Seacliff Environmental Services and Construction. Len is a licensed
contractor and has worked in construction, engineering, and
facilities design for over 15 years. Lennox has extensive management
experience. He formerly managed a diverse team of Facility Design
Engineers and Broadcast Research Engineers to design, deploy,
and maintain state of the art production facilities worldwide
for iBeam Broadcasting. He attended the University of California
in Santa Barbara where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with
an emphasis in electronic music. Len is an avid musician and
has been involved in every aspect of this field including songwriting,
arranging, engineering and studio construction. He even performs
with his band “RST” on a local and national level.
Len is the creative mind behind the construction side of Seacliff
Environmental Services and Construction. Lennox, his wife Yvonne,
and their daughter Morgen live in the Seacliff community. The
Smith family has resided in the Santa Cruz area for 20 years.
